Even though I have two other blogs, I want to have one for my personal life.
This blog isn't about my game projects, despite the title. This is about me and my personal life, such as odd things that happen to me and issues that I feel uppity about.
Let's start with something that I am stressed out about. Finding a job.
Unlike most of the modern world, I have, at the age of 21, never held a job. If you are alarmed at this, you are justified. I'm alarmed, too.
So... even with my studies this semester, I'm going to be trying to find work. I have class four days a week (two mornings, one evening, and one morning+afternoon), but I think that I might be able to wedge in a part-time job.
Well, I'm hoping for that. At the moment, I'm completely dependent on my family for money, and no one is happy about that. I'm certainly not, at least.
So there's my mission for the time being (beside my games); I will find a job.
Since I'll be graduating from college this spring, I'll need a job and a place to live. My parents are selling their house in a couple of years, so I'll absolutely have to, well, escape.
I'm hoping to get a job at McDonald's or some other chain restaurant because they usually have reasonably flexible hours. I know I'll have to deal with some horrible people, but I can live with that for the time being.
